Chorlton Mark and RAM 5th February 2020 |
Chorlton RAM Elevation |
Sylvester During, is now in his second year of office at Chorlton RAM and the lodge is enjoying an increase in candidates for elevation so what better opportunity was there for an extra RAM meeting than on the occasion of the Chorlton Mark Lodge Installation. This was particularly opportune as the lodges also enjoyed the company of John Bicknell and one of its Honorary members Peter Connolly. The business of elevation having been concluded it was time to be ready for the Chorlton Mark installation! |

Chorlton Mark Lodge Installation |
Unfortunately, David Emmett who was to remain in the master’s chair for a second year suffered sudden illness and that meant that another officer was needed to be ready to step into the master’s chair for the year at very short notice. Everybody was able to relax when Graham Bailey was duly elected his first task being to wish David Emmett well in his recovery. |

In a fine ceremony Denis Tierney installed Graham Bailey as Master and the keystone address was given by Chris McNab along with the address to the wardens. |
The working tools were presented by Jonathan Platt in an excellent manner with the address to the master completed by Sylvester During. |
The address to the brethren was completed by John Bicknell who was also later presented with two cheques payable to the West Lancashire Mark Charity Fund. A fine donation totalling £394 |
The lodge was then closed and all retired to a warm and lively social board. Another fine night of Mark Masonry. |
